1. We are distributing Payment Card through your child starting yesterday. Please bring this card for all monthly fees or other related payments

2. Copy of Birth Certificate - please submit to us before end of next week for insurance purpose. Majority ahve not submitted yet. We need that urgently.

3. Chinese New Year holiday only until next Tuesday 27th Jan. School will be opened as usual on 28th Jan 2009

Alhamdulillah, Tahun Baru 2009 telah bermula dan kita semua dipanjangkan umur untuk terus menghirup udara Allah SWT. Arif Minda terus wujud untuk anak-anak tuan puan dan kawasan sekitar dan sudah pun bertambah dari sudut kapasiti - kewujudan Arif Minda 2.
Ucapan terima kasih tidak terhingga terhadap anda semua atas kepercayaan dan sokongan yang diberikan kepada kami. InsyaAllah pihak kami akan berusaha untuk mendidik anak-anak bangsa dan agama kita seperti di harapkan. Pihak guru-guru kami ikhlas untuk memastikan semua harapan tercapai. Eratkan hubungan antara kita dan jangan simpan perasaan negatif. Sekiranya ada, datanglah meminta penjelasan dengan hati yang terbuka.

BRIEFING SESSION on 1st Jan 2009 TO ALL PARENTS

To all Parents, Guardians,

Special briefing session on Tadika Arif Minda to all parents (existing and new students) will be held as follows:

Date: 1st January 2009
Venue: Dewan MBSA Seksyen 28, Taman Alam Megah
Time: 8.30 ~ 11.00 am

AGENDA:
- Introduction of staffs/management (Arif Minda 1&2)
- Briefing on new syllabus and time table
- Distribution of new Rules/Regulations and 2009 Year Planner
- Collection of Uniforms, name tags etc
- Payment Collection
- Questions and answers session

ALL PARENTS MUST ATTEND this session to avoid a lot of issues and misunderstandings beginning of school session next week.

Please note that Parents are not allowed to accompany their child in Tadika premises beginning of 1st school day.

SALAM MAAL HIJRAH 1430H

Salam Ma’al Hijrah 1430H kepada semua muslimin dan muslimat dari kakitangan dan pihak pengurusan Tadika Arif Minda. Kami bermula tahun baru Hijrah ini dengan penambahan bangunan Tadika yang baru bagi memberi peluang yang lebih kepada anak-anak Muslim bersama kami.
Ayuh berubah daripada cengkaman minda penjajah. Tanamkan dihati anak-anak tentang pentingnya keimanan dalam hidup ini dunia akhirat. Bebaskan Palestine daripada Israel. Semoga agama dan negara kita dilindungi Allah selalu.

THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO AS A PARENT

Yelling is a very important and great thing...if there is a fire or if you need help. Which, by the way, if you do need help you should yell "fire" and not "help". It has been shown people run towards a person yelling "fire" and away from the person yelling "help".

But yelling is terrible when trying to communicate or discipline. It shows a lack of control on your part. One of the worst things you can do is show your kids that you have no self-control or discipline. They want you to be in control because it makes them feel more safe and secure...even if they don`t show it. Plus, yelling just makes people mad.

Never screaming at your children should go without saying. However, you should never scream at anyone. Not your spouse, your employees, your friends, your yard guy or your parents. Instead, try to communicate with your words instead of your volume. It may be hard at first because many people hide behind their yelling. Screaming and fighting is a way to avoid real confrontation, which only occurs when you calm down and communicate clearly.It is easy to yell and scream.

It is hard to sit someone down, look them in the eye and tell them why you are disappointed in them. But your job as a parent is to do just that. Your children want to really communicate with you. They want to know what they did wrong and how you feel. So, you must give them that and STOP YELLING (using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in print implies that you are yelling...just so you know. Oh yeah, AND IT IS JUST AS ANNOYING HERE AS IT IS IN PERSON DON`T YOU THINK?) SO STOP YELLING!
