OVERVIEW (2007 version):
Arif Minda’s learning programme is designed for children aged 4-6 years old. The curriculum follows the Pre-School National Curriculum guidelines set by Ministry of Education Malaysia of which covers all areas of development such as Analytical Thinking, Language, Moral, Socio emotional, Art and Craft. Islamic studies are integrated into every topic within all subjects taught in the curriculum as children need a lot of exposures and opportunities to learn.

§ To contribute and provide an integrated pre-school educational programme suitable for the early development of the child that produce a wholly practicing Muslim
§ To nurture the growth of children in all areas of development with Islamic values
§ To develop and prepare the children to be Muslims of excellent character who are highly motivated to learn, and superior academically.
§ To generate sense of security, trust, responsibility and independence in the child
CURRICULUM:
Islamic Educations
- Tauhid, Feqah, Practical Solat, Sirah, Iqra', Doa, Hafazan and Jawi.
English Language and Bahasa Melayu
- Listening, Speaking, Writing, Story telling and Reading
Mathematics & Science
- Basic Mathematics and introducing the world around us through scientific discovery
Mental Arithmetic
- Develop their mental faculties to be more analytical, imaginative and creative
Art & Craft
- To generate children’s creative thinking
Other activities:
- Birthday Parties, Educational CD, Field Trip, Water Play, Gardening, Sports, PE

School time:
Morning session
Monday to Thursday : 8.30 am – 12.00 pm
Friday : 8.30 am – 11.30 am
Afternoon session
Monday to Thursday : 1.00 pm – 4.30 pm
Friday : 12.30 pm – 3.30 pm
Arrival time:
Morning session
Monday to Friday : 7.30 am – 8.00 am
Afternoon session*
Monday to Thursday : 12.30 pm
Friday : 12.00 pm
*for afternoon session, please do not send your child before the stated arrival time to avoid traffic congestion
It is crucial for the children to be punctual during their arrival time as the first one hour is filled will important activities such as mass Reading Practice. Frequent delay will affect the children's performance in learning. Other than the above period, please use door bell.
Please use the school’s mini door beside Jalan Gapis 27/72 for sending and picking up your children. Our main gate will be closed to avoid traffic congestion within the housing area.

Monday to Thursday : 4.30 pm
Friday : 3.30 pm
- Kindly make necessary arrangement should there be any delay or emergency.
FIRST DAY:
Parents/guardians are not allowed to accompany their children inside the school premises from the first school day onwards.
SCHOOL SEMESTER:
The school semester is as indicated by the Ministry of Education
We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and other gazetted public holidays. Please refer to our 2007 year planner.
FEES:
Monthly and yearly fees are as indicated in the application form. Monthly payment should be made not later than the first week of the month. Full monthly fees are to be paid for the month of January until November 2007 (11 months).
Payment could be made by cash or cheque payable to Tadika Arif Minda.
OTHER PAYMENTS:
We might inform parents on other types of payment such as additional books, field trips, graduation day activities, sports activities, certificates and photos. Details will be informed accordingly.
ATTENDANCE:
Please inform us if your child is unable to attend class or coming late. This is important with respect to the security and to determine the location of our student.
DRESSING CODE:
Wearing Tadika Arif Minda’s complete uniform is a must. Girls should also wear ‘tudung’. Parents are advised to write children’s name on uniform, shoes, school bag and other belongings.
Friday is the activity day and students must wear white T shirt and long track bottom. Please wear shoes or sandal. Slippers are not allowed for safety reasons.
ACTIVITIES:
Monthly birthday:
Birthday celebration will be conducted every last day of the month unless being informed earlier. During this special day of the month, students are allowed to wear beautiful cloths. Parents are welcomed to contribute cake, food or party packs for this occasion. Earlier notification is highly appreciated to avoid waste.
Water Play:
Please ensure basic needs such as towels, plastic bag and extra clothes for this activity. Refer to the time table for details and please write your child’s name on each of the items.

- Valuable Items: Money, Jewellery ,
- Toys (unless instructed)
Note: No replacement can be made for any lost of homework book, reading book, etc given by the school. The school will also not responsible for any lost or damage of the valuable items stated above
MESSAGE BOOK:
As a medium of communication between parents and the tadika, all students will have a message book and must be kept all the time in the school bag. Please put your initials upon reading the message/letter. Please keep all the messages in the book for future reference.
HEALTH:
Kindly not send your child to school if he/she is deemed unwell. The school also reserves the right to send a child home if he or she is deemed unfit for the day. Please also ensure that the child is always in a neat school uniform with clean hair and fingernails.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Personal matters: Information on child, personal or any family related matters are only to be discussed with the management of Tadika Arif Minda as the matters are treated as private and confidential.
Professional matters: Only professional matters related to the child are to be discussed with the respective teachers.
